OVERVIEW
Wright Park is a quiet, pine-forested promenade in Baguio City, famously recognized for its scenic reflecting pool and as the historic center for horseback riding in the Summer Capital.

Wright Park was named after Governor-General Luke Edward Wright and serves as a serene recreational link between the city center and the official presidential residence, The Mansion. The park is defined by two distinct areas connected by a stone stairway: the upper section features the "Pool of Pines," a long rectangular reflecting pool lined with towering Benguet pines and vibrant flower beds, while the lower section houses the bustling horseback riding circle. Historically used by American soldiers for relaxation, the park has maintained its colonial-era charm and continues to be a primary livelihood hub for the local Ibaloi community, specifically the "Pony Boys" who manage the riding services. Recently, the park has been integrated into the city's broader rejuvenation program, introducing a modern Water Fountain Music & Light Show at the pool to enhance evening tourism. Whether used for a peaceful morning jog, a family picnic, or an introductory horse ride, the park captures the quintessential Baguio atmosphere of cool mist and evergreen landscapes.
