The Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) – Baguio City was established in October 2018 pursuant to Republic Act 10070, which mandates the creation of PDAO offices in every province, city, and municipality. Operating under the City Mayor’s Office, it oversees the registration and issuance of PWD identification cards, ensures enforcement of disability-related benefits and privileges, and coordinates city-level programs promoting accessibility, inclusion, and welfare for persons with disabilities.
