BenCab Museum, founded by National Artist Benedicto “BenCab” Cabrera and established in 2009 in Tuba, Benguet, serves as both a gallery space and cultural destination a short drive from Baguio City. It contains permanent galleries featuring Cabrera’s paintings, prints, and sculptures, as well as rotating exhibits by other Filipino artists and collections of Cordillera indigenous arts and crafts.
The museum stands on a scenic promontory overlooking forested hills, integrating art with views of gardens, mountain ridges, and farmland, and includes outdoor spaces and a café where visitors can relax while taking in the surroundings. Its gallery halls from Philippine contemporary art to region-specific displays offer insights into Philippine visual culture and heritage beyond just a single artistic style.
