The Department of Agrarian Reform Regional Office – Cordillera Administrative Region (DAR-CAR) is the regional extension of the national Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), the executive department tasked with equitable redistribution of agrarian land, provision of support services, and improvement of tenure security for farmers and agrarian reform beneficiaries across the region.
DAR-CAR implements national agrarian reform policies locally, facilitating land acquisition and distribution, issuance of Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs), and support programs for agrarian communities. The office also provides technical services, legal assistance, program monitoring, and stakeholder engagement to empower beneficiary farmers and promote rural development.
Situated in Baguio City, the regional office serves as the coordination center for agrarian reform activities in the Cordillera region’s provinces, helping ensure the effective delivery of DAR programs and services.
