OVERVIEW
Il Padrino Caffe + Ristorante is an Italian-inspired cafe and restaurant in Baguio City that combines premium locally sourced coffee from the Cordilleras with cinematic theme, providing a cozy, student-friendly environment.

Il Padrino (Italian for "The Godfather") is the brainchild of Ervine Pangwi, who named the establishment after his favorite film to reflect the strength of family ties. Originally established in Manila, its Baguio branch serves as a "homecoming" for the family, as the owner grew up in Sagada. The establishment is uniquely positioned as both a high-quality coffee shop—using hand-picked beans from various Cordilleran regions—and an "honest-to-goodness" restaurant with an extensive "magazine-style" menu. Located in a prime spot on Session Road near the Baguio Cathedral, it features a classic yet modern interior with a library-like mezzanine, creating a space that feels both upscale and welcoming.
